About me:

I am the CEO & founder of The English Farm. I was an English teacher from 2001 to 2018. I lived and studied in Japan for 8 years, then in Brazil for 5 years. Now I live in Auckland, New Zealand. I speak Japanese and Portuguese. I like to surf and play guitar. I no longer teach.

I have taught English since 2001 in Japan, New Zealand and Brazil. I have taught group classes and one-on-one. I was a star teacher for a famous school in Japan, and since 2008 I have run my own English correction service. I taught online classes from 2009 to 2018.

Teaching focus:

I specialise in business English, TOEIC, TOEFL, Eiken, IELTS, presentation and fluency, and grammar. I make English easy to understand and speak clearly. I will correct all your mistakes, give you lots of notes and focus on communication and clarity. I will make your English sophisticated and professional. I can teach both British and American English.

Professional experience:

I have management experience in NZ’s best hotels and have worked in marketing and publicity for a TV company. I run The English Farm and Poligo.
